Jess holds an MA in English from Montclair State University and a BFA in English and Fine Arts from Felician University. She has a diverse range of work experience in historic archives, museum collections, higher education, and public relations.

Outside of her professional work, Jess also writes literary and cultural criticism. She also freelances in photography, illustration and graphic design. She has a passion for storytelling, fostered by her childhood hobbies in illustration and creative writing.

When she’s not writing, drawing, or getting lost in archives, she can be found spending time in nature or relaxing with her two dogs.
