Commission Information, Terms, Conditions and Frequently Asked Questions

Thank you for considering commissioning me! I can work with you on an art piece (watercolor painting, marker art, sketch, digital art, or a combination of digital and traditional art), photo shoot, craft idea (pottery/textile), copywriting/ghost writing or videography project. The following information, terms and conditions apply primarily to art pieces such as watercolor paintings which are what people most often commission me for. For other above listed projects, the same terms and conditions apply with regards to the specific medium.

At the bottom of this page, you will find a form in which you can contact me with your idea for a commission via email, and I will communicate with you from there.

If we decide to proceed with the commission request, it is required that you please read all of these terms and conditions before I start the project, and I will ask for your consent on certain aspects listed below via email.

Please note: my commission slots are rarely open, so do not be disappointed if I cannot work with you at this time due to my already busy schedule!

are your commissions open?

I normally do not take commission requests unless I know the client personally. It is unlikely that commissions are open at all, however, you may fill out the form at the bottom of this page with your commission request/project idea. I am open to considering collaboration projects with other artists as long as there is transparency, honesty and ethical consideration evident in the collaboration.

what is the average pricing?

The average pricing for most projects can be anywhere between $100-$500 depending on the cost of materials, transportation to get materials, labor, shipping, and size/amount of materials used for the piece. Larger projects or ongoing projects (projects that require me to be onsite for multiple days) can be upwards of $500+.

what is the turnaround time for a standard painting?

Admittedly, the average turnaround time for a painting could be about 6 months. Art and creative projects are not my full time job and are primarily enjoyed as hobbies, so when it comes to a piece being worked on for a client, I tend to take my time with it to make sure it’s perfect despite having little time to even make personal artwork for myself occasionally. If you need a piece finished by a deadline/for an event, please take the 6 month average time frame into consideration before reaching out to me.

Do you ship/deliver outside of the united states?

Aforementioned, I prefer working with clients I know personally/in real life which means my preferred method of getting art to you would be on foot, handing it to you in person. I can ship some smaller, flat pieces of art as long as they do not contain hazardous materials such as a glass frame (that could potentially break!). Shipping internationally is usually not an issue for smaller, flat pieces, but international shipping details can be discussed privately via email as every country has a different price for shipping which will be reflected in the overall cost of the commission.

terms and conditions regarding payment?

If delivering in person, I can accept a cash payment. (Do not be offended if I use a counterfeit detector marker). Otherwise, I also accept Venmo and Paypal payments and details for those payment methods can be shared privately once we are set on the commission.

NEW: A 50% deposit is required to secure your commission spot. The remaining 50% is to be paid immediately once I hand you your final piece.

You can also mix and match payment methods, such as paying through Venmo for the first 50% and cash for the second half.

are you open to collaborating?

I would love to collaborate with other artists to work on projects as long as my schedule allows it and based on the parameters of said project. As previously stated, I am open to considering collaboration projects with other artists as long as there is transparency, honesty and ethical consideration evident in the collaboration. Nuances over pricing, supply chain, materials, and division of costs can be discussed privately.

last bits of important terms and conditions:

  • Please note that I deny responsibility for and refuse to be involved in any production of artwork or creative project that condones to: racism, sexism, bigotry, ageism, ableism, child pornography or anything else I deem unethical. If any of the previously mentioned are detected in the midst of a creative project, the 50% initial deposit made will be refunded and I will discontinue working with you.

  • I do not draw: NSFW, pornography of any kind, fetishes, violence, gore, etc.

  • I can draw: caricature portraits, architecture/homes, furries, pets/animals, original characters.

  • currently working on improving: human fullbody illustrations, mechanical objects (vehicles in particular).
